Two years in the making, Different Circles is very proud to present Baroque, six unorthodox excursions into chaotic upper-atmosphere dynamics from Japanese artist Ena.
Variously recalling coded AI shortwave transmissions and blasted high arctic landscapes through the filter of the most abtruse Chain Reaction-adjacent sound design, it is a pleasure to welcome Ena to the DC fold.
Vinyl avaiable now. Download released 31 October 2019.
This release features specially designed cover art by Raime.
What a wild approach to vocal sampling, DnB & broken beat experimentation. I'm not only impressed but a little concerned for my center of gravity. cherub420
I'm from the future. A cleaning robot from Bandcamp sent me. Inexplicably, even having reached 200 supporters there were no comments for this good and, considering how different the s/t was, ballsy minimal electronic release. It's dark, atmospheric and pleasant. Most importantly, it doesn't make me revert back to counting squirrels after a couple of minutes of fast jungle/dnb/whatever beats. tr_🇺🇦
